Introduction to the FACTS Foundation (Fraternity of Advanced Cardiovascular Techniques and Solutions)

The FACTS Foundation (Fraternity of Advanced Cardiovascular Techniques and Solutions) is a global non-profit organization established by a dedicated group of like-minded cardiologists and cardiac surgeons. Our mission is to advance research, innovation, education, and training for all physicians and surgeons involved in the care of cardiac patients, irrespective of their geographic location.

FACTS is committed to pioneering new methods for the prevention and treatment of cardiac disorders. The foundation fosters global collaboration, encouraging the rapid exchange of ideas and innovations to enhance patient care.

Since its inception in 2009 by A. Sreenivas Kumar, MD and Susheel Kodali, MD FACTS has played a key role in making leading educational programs more. accessible to physicians in Hyderabad and throughout India. FACTS has facilitated bringing content from prestigious global meetings, such as EuroPCR and TCT®, to India and Hyderabad. The foundation has also organized the ACVS HI 2010 Conference, ACVS INDIA from 2011 to 2013, and TCT INDIA NEXT from 2014 to 2015 in Hyderabad and Bengaluru.

In 2012, FACTS partnered with the Cardiovascular Research Foundation®—organizers of TCT®—to launch TCT INDIA NEXT (now TCT® Plus India), India’s premier interventional cardiovascular event.
FACTS is uniquely positioned within the field of interventional cardiovascular medicine, conducting research on therapies , pharmacology, and devices, validating their safety and efficacy through clinical trials, and educating the medical community on their appropriate use.

FACTS is dedicated to accelerating the development of new devices by reducing production costs and streamlining the evaluation process, ultimately benefiting patients worldwide.

IACII - Indian Academy of Cardiac Imaging & Interventions: FACTS established IACII to offer cutting-edge training in imaging and interventional techniques to emerging cardiologists, fellows, and CV nurse technicians, with support from industry partners.

FACTS Clinical Research Facility: Our pioneering clinical research facility features Angio & Echo Core Laboratories and a preclinical animal lab, setting a new standard for cardiovascular research in the country.
